Paris ist meine absolute Lieblingsstadt, mein Happy Place. Ich hatte euch in meinem Post hier ja schon den einen oder anderen Tipp gegeben, was man in Paris alles schönes machen kann.
Dieses Mal waren wir wieder zur Fashion Week da, allerdings wurde ich dieses Mal auch in den Showroom der Brand Management Agency eingeladen. Ihr könnt Euch gar nicht vorstellen, wie sehr ich mich über die Einladung gefreut habe. Klar ist es keine Einladung zu einer Show, aber es ist ein Anfang. Und jeder fängt mal klein an.
Dazu später aber mehr.
Wir haben uns dieses Mal für ein neues Hotel entschieden, und neu, nicht nur weil wir es noch nicht kannten, sondern auch relativ neu, denn das Hotel hat erst 2015 eröffnet. Das Hotel Ekta liegt in einer Querstraße der Champs-Elysées und damit super gelegen. Die U-Bahn George V ist in 3 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.
Das Boutique Hotel hat 25 Zimmer in verschiedenen Kategorien auf 5 Stockwerke verteilt.
Wir hatten ein Deluxe Zimmer im 3. Stock.
Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und die Zimmer waren schön und sauber. Außerdem fand ich es super, dass das Hotel sehr modeinspiriert war. An den Wänden hingen überall coole Bilder, die ich mir auch zu Hause aufhängen würde. Die Einrichtung ist komplett schwarz-weiß gehalten, mit einem gelben Farbtupfer hier und da.
Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis fand ich auch gut und somit ist dieses Hotel für mich eine Empfehlung an Euch.
Nachdem wir eingecheckt haben, sind wir mit dem Uber zum Brand Management Agency Showroom gefahren. Eigentlich wäre ich ja am Liebsten gelaufen, aber leider hat es ziemlich geregnet. Das Uber-Fahren ist in Paris auch sehr angenehm, auch wenn mein Hauptverkehrsmittel nach wie vor die Metro bleibt.
Im Showroom haben 5 europäische Nachwuchsdesigner ihre neusten Kollektionen ausgestellt.
Meine beiden Favoriten waren Holy Ghost und Louise Assomo.
Holy Ghost ist eine 2010 in Deutschland von Jelena Hofmann und Sedina Halilovic gegründete Marke. Die Sachen waren alltagstauglich und die Farben fand ich besonders toll.
Meine beiden Lieblingsstücke waren die Jacke mit Fellbesatz und die asymmetrische Bluse.
Wer mir auf Instagram und meinen Stories folgt, hat sicherlich mitbekommen, wie sehr es mir die schwarzen Stiefel von Louise Assomo angetan haben. Die belgische Designerin arbeitet mit verschiedenen Materialien, und designt neben Schuhen auch Mode und Accessoires. Die Gürtel fand ich auch echt super. Bei der Kleidung fand ich ein schwarzes Kleid aus Tüll und Spitze besonders schön.
Die außergewöhnlichste Kollektion hatte die spanische Designerin Isabel Fernández Lanza des Labels Isalda. Zunächst dachte ich, dass es sich bei den von Origami inspirierten Taschen um Taschen aus Kunststoff handelt. Erst bei näherem Hinsehen habe ich festgestellt, dass es super fein gearbeitetes dickes Leder ist. Die klaren Linien und Farben lassen sich besonders gut minimalistisch kombinieren.
Ebenfalls sehr minimalistisch und klar war die Kollektion von der aus Estland stammenden Designerin Äli Kargoja, die zuvor für das Haus Maison Margiela gearbeitet hat. Das Label August verwendet ausschließlich natürliche Materialien. Meine Lieblingsteile der Kollektion waren der Wollrock mit Wickeloptik und die weiße Oversize Bluse.
Die fünste Kollektion stammte ebenfalls aus Estland. Triinu Pungits setzt auf Prints, außergewöhnliche Schnitte und Stoffe. Alle Teile werden in Estland designed und produziert.
Mein Lieblingsteil hier war der wunderschöne Pulli aus Wolle und Mohair mit Volant an den Ärmeln.
Ich fand den Showroom sehr interessant. Die Designer stammten allesamt aus Europa und die Teile waren eher bodenständig statt abgehoben, und somit auch tragbar.
Der Showroom lag in einem wunderschönen Innenhof mit einem tollen Garten. Genau wegen solchen kleinen geheimen Plätzen liebe ich Paris.

I love Paris! That's another reason why I was so happy to get to spend some days in Paris and this time I was even able to have a little Fashion Week inside...

This time, we spend 3 days in Paris, and again for Fashion Week. But this time I had the chance to be invited to my first Showroom by Brand Management Agency. I was so excited about this invitation! I mean, it's not an Invitation to a Show, but, every little step is a step in the right direction. Later more.
We decided to try a new Hotel this time, and with new I don't mean only new for us, but the hotel Ekta was only opened in 2015, so it's still quite new. Well situated in walking distance to the Champs-Elysées and the metro station George V, the Boutique Hotel offers 25 rooms on 5 floors. We had the deluxe room on the 3rd floor.
We were really happy with the Hotel. The personel was very friendly, the rooms very beautiful and clean. I also really liked the fact that the Hhtel is Fashion inspired. There were amazing Fashion prints all over. The furniture was all black and white with here and there a yellow pop of colour.
The price was adequate to what was offered and therefore I can highly recommend this hotel!
After checking-in, we quickly got changed before we took an Uber to the Brand Management Agency Showroom. The Uber system is good in Paris so you can use them if you don't want to walk or take the Metro.
At the Showroom, five european designer displayed their collections.
My favorites were Holy Ghost and Louise Assomo.
Holy Ghost is a German based Brand founded in 2010 by Jelena Hofmann and Sedina Halilovic. The clothes were wearable and I really liked the Colors. My two favorite items were the pale pink jacket with fur trimming and an asymetric blouse.
For those of you who follow my instagram Story might have noticed, how much I loved one pair of black boots by Louise Assomo. The belgian designer works with different fabrics and also creates clothes and other accessories. I also really liked the belts. Concerning the clothes, this black laced dress was just a dream!
The moxt extraordinary collection came from the spanish designer Isabel Fernandéz Lenza from the brand Isalda. At first I thought that the origami inspired bags were made of plastic. But as I tiook the bags, I realized that it is genuine and thick leather. The simple shape are perfect for a minimalistic look.
Also very minimalistic was the collection from estonian designer Äli Kargoja, who worked for Maison Martin Margiela before. The Label August only uses natural materials with innovative designs. My favorite pieces were the skirt with a knot in the front and the beautiful withe oversize-blouse.
The last collection also came from Estonia. Triinu Pungits is about prints, new shapes and cuts. All products are designed and produced in Estonia. My favorite peice was this ju,per made out of wool and mohair with ruffles on the shoulders.
The Showroom was very interesting. I liked the fact that all Designers were european Designers with wearable clothes.
When we arrived at the Showroom, we already saw the beautiful garden around it. This is the reason, why I love Paris!
