Ich bin in einer relativ großen Familie aufgewachsen, in der wir immer von Kindern umgeben waren. Ich finde es so schön und spannend zu sehen, wie Kinder aufwachsen, wie schnell sie dazu Lernen und wie schnell sie neue Sachen können. Gerade deshalb finde ich es traurig zu wissen, dass nicht allen Kindern dieser Welt der Zugang zu Bildung gewährt wird, dass Kindern nicht überall unbeschwert aufwachsen und lernen können.
Umso mehr freue ich mich, dass ich jetzt tatsächlich etwas Gutes tun kann. Und das Beste ist, auch ihr könnt bei diesem tollen Projekt dabei sein und unterstützen.
Am Sonntag fliege ich mit Nina und Patrick nach Kapstadt. Dort werden wir ein Projekt der help alliance besuchen.
Die help alliance ist die Hilfsorganisation der Lufthansa Group und ihren Mitarbeitern, die 1999 von Mitarbeitern gegründet wurde, seit dem bereits über 140 Projekte unterstützt hat und zum Ziel hat vor allem jungen Menschen den Zugang zu Bildung zu verschaffen. Derzeit arbeitet die help alliance an rund 30 Projekten in der ganzen Welt. Eines davon ist das Projekt iThemba Pre-School Capricorn. Vor 10 Jahren hat die help alliance hier schon eine Vorschule für über 80 Kinder gebaut. Jetzt soll eine Grund-und Mittelstufen-Schule für über 700 Kinder des Townships gebaut werden.
Gemeinsam mit Nina und Patrick wollen wir uns das Projekt vor Ort anschauen und versuchen, den Kindern etwas zurück zu geben.
Ich werde auch gerne noch ausführlicher über das Projekt berichten und Euch zeigen, was bereits passiert ist, und was noch passieren muss.
Wie ihr bei dem Projekt dabei sein könnt? In dem auch ihr uns helft, den Schulbau zu verwirklichen.
Hier könnt nämlich auch ihr Spenden. Und ich möchte vorab sagen, dass auch eine kleine Spende von 50 Cent hier einiges bewegen kann. Denn die Schule braucht zur Fertigstellung noch über 100.000 Ziegelsteine, und ein Ziegelstein kostet 50 Cent. Ich würde mich sehr freuen, wenn auch ihr uns unterstützt, bis zum Ende des Jahres den Bau der Schule zu ermöglichen.

On Instagram I already told you that I will be travelling to Capetown on Sunday with Nina and Patrick. And today I would like to tell you what we'll be doing there.
I grew up in a big family and there were always children around. It's so fascinating to see them grow, to see how quick they learn and how quick they can do new things. This is also a reason why I'm quite sad to know, that not every child in this world is allowed to learn and to have a proper education.
That's just another reason why I am more than excited to be able to do good. And the best is that also you can be part of this project.
On Sunday, Nina, Patrick and I will be flying to Capetown where we are going to visit a help alliance project.
The help alliance is the aid organization of Lufthansa Group and its employees.
